Hutchison Ports Timsa has been recognized as a safe Company.

The secretary of Work and social estimates (STPS) granted Hutchison Ports TIMSA with  the award of “ First Level Company Safety” in honor of the company’s compliance to its safety and occupational health regulations. The company performed a comprehensive evaluation on the first level program of STPS: SOHSMP ( Safety and Occupational Health Selfmanagement Program (PASST) which was successfully approved, with an 88.05% score in normative compliance. 
The awarding ceremony was presided by Mr. Juan Roberto Barbosa Lopez, federal Work Delegate in Colima , and Mr. Luis Antonio Alemán Páramo, General Manager at Hutchison Ports TIMSA. Among the attendees were: Vice-Admiral Alejandro Miranda Ocegera, General Manager of API Manzanillo, Mr. Cecilio Lepe Bautista, General Secretary of the Stevedore and Labourer Union of the Pacific (CROM) and Mr. Miguel Pdilla Isordia, General Secretary of CROM’s Union in Hutchison Ports TIMSA.

Mr. Luis Antonio Aleman thanked for the award and congratulated all its colaborators for their culture on safety under which they have been working, highlighting that they will continue working without ever skimping on the necessary safety resources, managing to obtain the next levels of recognition of the Safety and Occupational Health Selfmanagement Program.
