On Thursday, August 2nd, we had the pleasure of living with our clients in Mexico City, through a cocktail event that took place at Hacienda Los Morales, a site where a film was shown that illustrated the progress of the magna work of the new port of Veracruz that reaches today a 44% advance, as well as the sample of a migration process of 7 months that guarantees the simultaneous uninterrupted operation in both terminals until November 2019, maintaining service levels and attention according to our philosophy, oriented to the client.
Finally, and clearly, a message was delivered by our Commercial Director and our General Manager, about what Veracruz offers and what maintains it as a port reference, without problems of congestion, or schedule restrictions. Complementing in addition with technological innovation and strategic infrastructure as part of the strengths that consolidate the recognized advantages offered by the port of Veracruz.

Progress of the work of the new port of Veracruz
The advances that are carried out in the construction of the ICAVE terminal in the New Port of Veracruz are the following:
- The hopper and cutter dredges finished their activities in this project, leaving the docks and navigation areas dredged to a depth of 15 m.
- The works of the dock continue advancing in the superstructure, which is at 45% of construction.
- In yard progress is made in soil improvement through dynamic compaction, vibroflotation and overburden, with an advance of 35%; The introduction of drainage lines has a 13% advance.
